If you are being investigated for a crime or have been charged, you will want a strong criminal defense lawyer at your side as you navigate your way through the criminal process. Robert J. Hickey is an excellent choice. He reviews the police reports and evidence held in each case in order to determine what defenses might be available to his clients. He then works to build the defense case, working closely together with his clients in an effort to best help them.
When we meet with you, we will take the time to analyze the information from your case and will then advise you of the approach we think might work for you. We will provide you with an honest assessment of your case and whether or not we think you should seek a plea agreement or fight your case through trial. In some cases, there are constitutional problems with the way in which the police conducted searches, stops or seizures. When we see these issues, we may file evidentiary motions in an effort to get the evidence suppressed.
